Waiting for YouPrologue:   I slowly made my way down the unlit stairway. Due to my throbbing head, I could barely see straight much less walk straight. Everything was so blurry; I couldn't even make out my own hand. Why does the staircase have to be a spiral staircase? I thought, annoyingly. Oh right, he likes to make everything grand, I thought wryly, smiling a bit. Ugh, even now I thought fondly of him. Even when I can barely think straight! This is getting ridiculous, but now isn't the time to be thinking of these things. Soft, Calloused HandsMy mother, her old, wrinkly hands  Always seems to be working, moving  Whether it's cleaning or cooking  Or even holding a broom to hit someone over the head  It had never once stopped moving  Her hands, splintered and calloused  Never seem to take a break  Save for praying when it is stilled against her chest  Palm to palm for but five seconds or so  Never once thinking of herself  She continues to work these hands  Never allowing for a break, going past its limits again and again  Moving about the house, her hands refused to stop  Doing laundry, vacuuming, and mopping - all at Soft, Calloused Hands

sigh...

well...i talked to her...n guess wat...

she had the gall to tell me to mind my own business when i told her wat she already knew!

what's the worse part is watching her do this to herself. she's one of the sweetest, happiest, person i know. easy going, pretty, and happy - HAPPY!! now...she's so down and she looks so tired and stressed

she used to be happy to the point of BUBBLY!!

sigh this is why u don't get into relationships at this time

wayyy too much pain n suffering and i doubt tat the relationship is even gonna last so why deal with all this now

hopefully, me n the others can get her thru this.
